Luke Jin & Fabien Colas are young, inspired filmmakers embarking on their cinematic endeavours from opposite sides of the globe.

Our name and symbol, the Atlas Bear represents an all-encompassing international presence... with a raw and rare strength in creativity.
With a passion for narrative and cinematic storytelling, Luke & Fabien are now both creating original films bearing the paw print of  ATLAS BEAR FILMS.


Luke, born in 1993 is a British film director and screenwriter of English & Chinese descent. He grew up and still lives in the west of London town, Slough.

Whilst studying at the MET Film School, Luke co-wrote a feature film and also wrote & directed his first real effort in his short graduation film, 'The Odds of Happiness'.

Luke completed his latest short film 'La Boulangerie' in August 2016 in Castillonnes, France. The romantic/comedy is now complete and is set to be released in festivals in 2017. 

Luke is now working on short and feature film scripts, and has a style and tendency for creating charming stories and underdog characters. 



Fabien, born in 1988, is a Luxembourgish film director and producer currently living and working in Los Angeles. 

After a summer course at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, he enrolled at the MET Film School at Ealing Studios for a year before making the move across the pond.

Fabien has since enrolled in an MFA at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena where he continues to study the craft of storytelling.

Amongst other noteworthy projects as a director and producer, Fabien's biggest achievement to date is his short film 'ROXY', which has been screened at festivals across Europe and the US as well as having been nominated for the prize of the Best Narrative Short by the Luxembourgish Film Academy.

Fabien is currently working on another short film that will be shooting in Luxembourg.
