ALEX BÉNÉZECH - Claudia

Rising French star, Alix Bénézech plays our lead and heroine, Claudia, a sweet but restless young baker and treasure of the provincial village, Castillonnès.

Alix performs vocals on the original song ‘Blue Yonder’, featured in 'La Boulangerie'.

She stars in ‘Nina’ a weekly French medical series on the TV channel TF1 and will feature in a historical TV miniseries ‘La Guerre des As’ which will air this year.

Her recent credits include 'La Vie nous Appartient' and its awards & 2016 French blockbuster comedy pathe film 'Camping 3' which was the second highest grossing domestic film of 2016.  

 

 

STEVE WHITELEY - Uncle Dan

Exciting up and coming stand up comedy talent, Steve Whiteley plays Uncle Dan, a cheeky, harmless, but enthusiastic middle class English holidaymaker.

Steve had a successful run at Edinburgh Fringe Festival with his musical comedy show ‘Wisebowm: The Struggle Is Real’. He recently opened for Stewart Lee at the Ivy House in 2016 and was the Winner of Rising Star Comedy Club in the same year. He is the breakfast show presenter on The Beat London 103.6fm and is the current voice of Spotify UK.

RENAUD CALVET - Jacques

Seasoned and remarkable French actor Renaud Calvet plays Jacques, a proud traditional Frenchman, Claudia's father and unofficial spokesperson of the village.

His most recent credits the french ambassador in the award winning 'The French Minister' (2013). 'The Statement' (2003) starring Michael Kane and Tilda Swinton.

 

 

 

MILLY KEVEREN - Milly

Young acting prospect Milly Keveren plays Uncle Dan's 8 year old niece and slightly savvier sidekick.

Milly returns to work with her brother, director Luke Jin, after starring in his last short film 'The Odds of Happiness'. Milly is also a part time student at the renowned Red Roofs Theatre School whose alumni include Kate Winslet, Jo Froggatt and Kris Marshall.
